Back to Germany today.

Ron got up at 5am to get ready in time to watch the start of the Australian Football Grand Final (AFL). Adelaide Crows (SA) vs Richmond Tigers (VIC) playing at MCG (Melbourne). Kim and Alex had tickets to go to the game. We had excellent wifi in our Holiday Inn Hotel.

I got up at 5:45pm. We breakfasted and got on the airport shuttle at 6:30pm for London-Stansted. Our RyanAir flight to Bremen went at 7:55am arriving at 10:20am (1 hr time difference forward).

Horst picked us up from the airport and took us back to the airport. He then took the Straßenbahn to the railway station and went to München for Carola's birthday.

Ron walked to the nearest Telekom public wifi point which was Contrescarpe Straße, to watch the replay of the football grand final. I did our washing and food shopping and then went to meet him. It was nice to have a day of 'everyday' activities. Unfortunately the Crows did not win the grand final. A disappointing outcome but it was exciting that they made it to the grand final.

We had a sleep in the afternoon. A lonely Vesper for dinner without Horst and watched CNN, it was the only English program.
