Travel Season

In Germany the ideal travel time depends on the interests of the traveler. June to August are the warmest months. However, these are not necessarily the best travel months, as it can rain a lot. Especially the transition periods April / May and September / October can be very interesting alternatives. The foothills of the Alps and the mid-range mountains are best for hiking from April to October. From November to April winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding are possible there.
