Not much happening in Vientiane! I had a flight from Vientiane to Huay Xai for the Gibbon Experience, which left me with two nights and one day in Vientiane. My hypochondriac British friend was fun to drink with at night, but there wasn't much going on during the day other than check out a few cool buildings, a rehab center for victims of American bombs and a shopping mall.
