Setting off on another walk on a mizzly, windy day we spied the marina through the trees.

Lots of excitement for John and Mairead on Londubh, as their son, Diarmuid, is a cadet on P64, anchored in the Bear Haven.
LE George Bernard Shaw is a Samuel Beckett-class offshore patrol vessel of the Irish Naval Service.
Even more excitement when Diarmuid turned up on Londubh with 3 of his mates; the Captain had allowed them ashore for a short time whilst he went for a walk.
When the lads returned to P64, John and Mairead and Anita and Peter from Yacht Nimrod of the Tyne came aboard for drinks.

Great craic! John sang beautifully, and Kevin sang the only Irish song he knows, Molly Malone!
The evening finished with Mairead reciting her lovely, moving poems.
Despite a very late night, Anita and Peter were up and heading out at just after 6am.
