The bay was gradually revealed…
….and what a beautiful spot.
Of course we had to have a selfie!
A beautiful place for a swim, which we had to ourselves.

Ardaragh Wedge Tomb. There are 4 different megalithic tomb types, and the wedge tomb is probably the last dating from the early Bronze Age (2000BC). Wedge Tombs are large stones boxes with a sloping roof slab, originally covered with a cairn of stones. There are around 400 wedge tombs in Ireland.
Strolling back to the boat, we later went for our daily Guinness (yes, even I’m enjoying a glass now), spending an enjoyable few hours with Anita and Peter from Yacht Nimrod.
