Rialto Bridge and Susie
Our last day. On our way home today.
Venice - Dubai - Adelaide with Emirates.
The morning rushed past in beautiful Venice. Still a foggy morning but not as bad as yesterday. No notifications from Emirates so we are assuming that the airport is open.
Had breakfast, visited the Rialto Bridge, walked the narrow streets, crossed multiple bridges over canals, boats and gondolas and did some shopping. We have a Venice tradition of going to the produce market, buying strawberries, eating them by the water and taking a selfie.
A final check of our room and then a walk to the water bus station. We took the public water bus (vaporeto) to the Marco Polo Airport (15 Euro each). A 30 minute ride.
Checked in. All going to plan so far.
