Steiff Museum entrance
Today we went to the Steiff Museum in Giegen. Margarete Steiff created the first stuffed toys and became famous for her teddy bears. Her nephew Richard Steiff invented the moveable parts.

It cost 6 Euros to enter the museum which included a tour. We followed two Steiff toys, Frieda the female doll and Knopf the bear. Each room was a new theme with varying types and sizes of stuffed toys.

Richard Steiff observed animals at the zoo to bring more reality into the look of the stuffed animals. Bear 55 PB was the design he launched with the first moveable parts.
