Neuharlingersiel Boat Haven
14 August
Ulrike and Robert Behrens picked us up from the Plenus Hotel in Bremen at 10am. We followed the German North coast for an esplanade drive. There is a dyke along the entire coast to hold back the sea. The tide is kilometres long. It is very flat. There is a fabulous cycle track on the dyke along the esplanade.

At Neuharlingersiel we walked around the boat haven. We bought delicious fresh smoked salmon rolls for lunch.
Yum!
In Carolinensiel we walked around the picturesque boat haven.
At Harlesiel we stopped at the fresh fish outlet. Amazing variety of seafood. Delectable.
The houses along the coast are beautiful and the ones over the water are very interesting and beautiful.

We went back to Robert and Ulrike's at Ganderkesee for a BBQ dinner. They have a beautiful home and expansive backyard. Fabulous food and hospitality. A very special day. Robert drove us back to Bremen.
