( Overview
/ Europe 2017
The day started with a sunny serine breakfast on the balcony at Horst's apartment. Horst had already gone to work. He had to collect his new accountant from the airport.
We are pleased to hear that Horst is going to retire at the end of the year and his two daughters, Birgit and Karin, will take over Hansatouristik. He will give some support such as customer liaisons and claims.
Ron and I walked into the city. Printed our Ireland boarding passes at the Contrescarpe Street Office. Off to the Tourist Bureau at the Railway Station for Bremen Stadium Soccer tickets for 26 August but they sent us to the soccer stadium.
Lunch at La Bottega Bistro as the main restaurant is closed on Mondays. We has Tortellini with tomato cream sauce.
We then walked to the Weser Stadium along the Weser River. Bought the last 3 tickets to the Bremen Werder Game against Bayern München on August 26.
Back to the city to find something green for me to wear to the game. Sitting in the Bremen section we have to wear green or black or white (no red or blue)! I found a scarf for 6,99 Euro.
Back to Schwachhausen and to the local Rewe supermarket for some breakfast food and more delectable cheeses and wine.
Horst came home from work about 6.15pm. Off to the local Italian restaurant, Papageno, for dinner. Back home for wine and chocolates!
