First full day in Laos! Got woken up by som roosters. Walking to the gibbons and a local asked if I need a lift to the boarder. Would never get that at home. Also all the locals are waiting outside their house in a praying position and the monks are walking along and it seems like they’re blessing them? They’re all holding a pop and on their knees. Interesting to see some culture :)

Stuck with the two Scot’s on the trip they was lovely! We wanted to stick with the smaller group as they was fun and nice, a lot better than the group we got stuck with, they’re a bit clicky which is a shame. They even started talking about the Scot’s and I like we don’t speak fucking English?? They’re rude. Literally I’d be nice and say things to get involved, like ‘thag was a great landing’ or whatever and they just ignored me. Proper trying to leave out. Thank god for the Scot’s! We’re sticking together. The hiking was fucking awful. We did the amount of stairs as 2.3 times Canary Wharf. I am so unfit I nearly died. I actually don’t think it was worth it 😂 the zip lining was cool and so was staging in the treehouse but they said 1 hour hiking, turns out it was 6 all UP HILL. I was actually so pissed off in the end. would not recommend or do again. I must say though it was nice having a shower in the jungle with the view of the pictures and the stars were so cool of a night :)
See a tree which was 700 years old, took 7 people to hug it, and I’m born on the 7th so it’s my tree now haha. It also had the honeycombs growing on it at the top like how they have it in the new jungle book film!
