Sadly, left Yeppoon and the coastline today and headed westbound! Stopped at Mt Hay Gem Park to fossick for thunder eggs. It was a bit backbreaking cos you have to dig ! We found quite a few (they look like spuds!) and then they slice them in half for you. You get to keep what you find ! Was a bit of fun. Drove onto Bluff where we camped out at the back of Bluff hotel. $10 for onite was a bargain!
Pub was great. Met some nice sheep farmer couples and had great night.
