Driving on the Great Northern Highway towards the WA coast is soooo hohum! I think it's more desolate than going up the middle ! Just one very very long road!! River beds are completely dry.. the only nice thing are all the boab trees. Stayed at a free camp called Lake Ellendale.. a dirt track off the highway and the owner lets us nomads camp there. Really nice spot with a lake, friendly cows and one fresh croc!
