Headed west for 100 kms to Daly River.. home of barramundi fishing and more crocs ! Decided on Perrys caravan park as there were a few .. drove through dirt tracks to get here (poor vanny). Only 2 other vans and very very rural. All the parks sit on Daly River which is actually quite pretty.. crocs also live here.. some van parks have closed due to crocs entering !!!! In fact this is the most out of my comfort zone I have been!! Not only are there crocs (which I actually feel the safest about !!) , I have to contend with gekkos (first I have seen in months), cane toads, flys that bite you, mossies, buffalo that roam the grounds at night .. yes buffalo!!!! And frogs in the pool 🐸 Stayed here one night. Steve tried to do a barra fishing charter but none available! They said he could fish in their billabong akin. With all the crocs.. no thanks !!!
