Only 270 kms to Daly Waters! Roads on this stretch were a bit exciting with a few hills n twists n turns!! Bit sick of the long long roads! And sooo much greenery.. doesn't feel like the outback! Drove thru Renner Springs and Elliot (a thriving indigenous town.. not!) Arrived at the iconic pubs n park grounds early afternoon. Stayed in unpowered site .. noticed a distinct change in weather today.. heaps hotter ☀️ Packed the jump jumps away and back in summer stuff! Lunched at pub .. quick change and back to pub ! Pub is laced with cards bras thongs .. every sort of paraphernalia you can think of! We had a great steak and listened to some live country muzac.. met some old dudes driving around oz in a chamberlain tractor towing a van .. chatted for ages!
