First day of heading up the guts! Very excited 😊 Drove for about 2 hours to Woomera (just off Stuart highway at Pimba). Woomera is famous for hurling rockets and missiles into the air and was and still is an area used for weapons testing 🚀 Not much else here. Walked into town which took about 10 minutes and we were back home again within the hour ! There was an onsite pub in our caravan park called Cudgee Bar. Every park should have one ☝️ We chatted with other travellers and the owners over bubbles n beer .. was great idea 💡 and so were the outdoor heaters !!
