Headed up to Adelaide. Staying at West Beach which seems to be closest to the city. Such a massive caravan park right on the beach. First arvy , we rode pushys to Glenelg. Took about half an hour . They have great bike tracks here! Wandered around.. the tram line on jetty road was closed so it was a bit of a shambles! Walked the jetty, had a few drinks in Grand Bar and Vietnamese for tea.
Next day we did a tour of Coopers brewery.. was very thorough! At the end of tour, there were generous tastings of all the range (about 12 varieties of ales, stout, vintage and sparkling (not the rossie variety!).. I was designated driver today !
Yay Friday .. biked northbound up coastal bike tracks to Grange thru West Rocks and Henley beaches. Henley had a great vibe and this is where our Friday drinks started. Lunched at Bacchus on espy. It was such a beautiful day. Stopped at Henley and West beach surf clubs. Saw first eva sunset over beaches.. awesome!
For the weekend we headed into Adelaide town. Decided to book hotel for 2 nights .. criteria was to find a bath or couch in room !! Found cheap deal at Millers apartments which were right in hub of it all.
Little Bar, Casablabla for amazeballs dinner and casino for a win win!
