So left Blue Mountains and headed back to our beloved beaches! Two and a half hour drive and we checked in to Barrack Point. It's just south of Woolongong and in Shell Harbour. Jumped on bikes.. rode south and lunched at Ocean Beach hotel.. great pub with great views and beer garden style.. luv it . Then bike rode into Warilla .. awesome bike tracks that hug the coastline.. just like kirra !! Next couple days were a faff.. going to beaches, getting hair cuts and doing not much! Steve got a few days work so not much sightseeing!! So I have shopped, biked and caught up on fave tv shows! Nights at Warilla bowls club and Shellharbour Sports club 🍸🍺 so a funny thing happened last night..I decided to cook steves car keys in the microwave That was his top hidey spot.. NOT!! Car keys now melted and disintegrated! Now waiting on spare set to arrive (thanks Bronny and Glen!)! So we hired a car and took a wet drive down to Kiama.. beautiful spot.. lunch ✔️ big blowhole ✔️ little blowhole ✔️ hasn't stopped raining !! It lashed down all day and about 4 ish we noticed how wet n soggy our van site was.. well by 6 ish we were being evacuated cos of flooding.. a bit scary and the worse thing was we couldn't move steves car due to my microwave snack!! A neighbour towed our van across the street to a car park .. and it is here we spent the night..we have always wanted to freecamp ! Next few days it kept raining but all safe for now! Moved back into same spot as soon as water receded next day. Spent paddys day at a very unIrish bowls club ☘️ Checked out the gong and it's beaches. Did scenic drive to sea cliff bridge .. very nice..very windy. This was our last day in this area.. going going gong!!!
