My last stop in the Krabi area was Railay Beach. It was a 15 min long boat ride from Ao Nang. On a map, it looks like a walkable distance between the two beaches, but because of the massive karsts (mountains), the only way to get to Railay is by boat. Some girls from my Ao Nang hostel came out as a day trip, but I stayed overnight to get more time at the beach.

The first day was prettying old weather for rainy season and we split out time between West Railay and Phra Nang where there was a cool cave. There's supposed to be bioluminescent plankton in the water near Phra Nang at night, but the beach was too lit up by the local restaurants and hotels that it was impossible to see anything.

It absolutely downpoured for most of my second day in Railay, which made getting back to Krabi for my flight really difficult and wet, but I made it in the end :)
