I had a bit of time before meeting my Myanmar tour group in Chiang Mai, so I flew to Krabi for a few days of beaching. I stayed in Ao Nang the first night, which was a pretty boring beach town. The beach and the weather weren't spectacular on the Thailand beaches scale, but it was an easy access point for Koh Phi Phi and Railay Beach.
