Arrived Lake Awoonga .. felt like the middle of nowhere but only 30 kms from Gladdy. Apparently the place for fishing hahaha!! It is one massive lake famous for barra! Steve did a boat charter around lake for 3 hours and not one nibble .. he was gutted. I drove into Gladstone for a looksee. Next day we took a drive to Tannum Sands which is the beaches south of Gladdy .. luvd it so much decided to book 3 nights as our next stop ! Quiet 2 nights in.
