Carnavon..did the usual ..leave at 10 ish and arrived lunchtimish! Arrived to one of the windiest days I can remember. Bike ride checking out town was a bit slow! Had great palm tree lined bike paths which I'm sure looked nicer on a better day !! C is known for its abundant fruit plantation ( tho you couldn't tell from the fruit n veg in woolies .. worst I have seen!) Sat night we checked out the nightlife.. local hotel for dinner and one more at Gascoyne hotel ( known for drunken pirates!). Next day we took a drive north to Point Quobba to check out the blowholes.. a very windy 💨desolate part of coastline, but still pretty. By Monday the wind had calmed down, the sun shone and Carnavon was back in my good books!! Steve had a days work so I went on another ride and faffed !
