Ballarat..gold diggin country !
14 k bike ride to and around Lake Wendouree.. then finish with a drink or two in the miners bar and the original George Hotel !!
Next day was spent at Sovereign Hill .. a step back in time to the gold rush days.. was really well done with the buildings and actors! Underground Gold mine tour, panning for gold and a late night light show "Blood on the Southern Cross" made for an entertaining day !
